Git repository works locally but not from Git server
I have a git repository hosted on our git server. I created a local repo, deleted the existing branch on the server, then committed to the repo and pushed it. The remote branch is the same as the local branch.
My repo on the server looks like this:
$ git remote -v
origin (fetch)
origin (push)
When I clone the repo on my machine, I get an error from the server.
$ git clone
Cloning into.../repo.git
warning: You appear to have cloned an empty repository.
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
The.git folder in the repo on the server looks like this:
$ ls -la
total 164
